Weekly discussions of current entrepreneurial events are required. Selections from the 150 professional development web courses in EduMin will enhance student learning. This course focuses on the learning and development of computer coding to conduct geospatial analyses with multiple applications in earth, environmental science, engineering, natural resources, health and social sciences. Students will learn R and Python linked with GIS software. Specific topics will include computer programming techniques for combining different types of geospatial data, methods for datasets visualization, and predictive analytics. Advanced knowledge combines computer modeling development and testing, and machine learning techniques to extract patterns and predictions from big, spatio-temporal datasets.
