Graduate Certificate in Accountancy

Students who intend to qualify for the national CPA exam must complete 150 hours of course work, including 30 hours of upper-division and/or graduate accounting courses specifically approved by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.  The Certificate of Accountancy program consists of five graduate accounting courses required (15 semester credit hours) that satisfy the Board's requirements for research, writing, and ethics. 

Admission Requirements 

Students must have an accounting degree from an AACSB accredited college or university and meet the prerequisite requirements for each course in the Certificate of Accountancy course sequence.
